Fresh chili peppers on display for sale at Centro Comercial, Tijuana Farmer's Market A delightful place to wander around in narrow aisles filled, ceiling to floor, with an assortment of decorative and functional items. This is the place to pick up that string of braided, fresh garlic, or the string of ceramic hot chiles. Gigantic wash tubs filled with more wash tubs of progressively smaller sizes are everywhere, both functional ones and the more attractive, copper ones. There are many Mexican restaurant supplies here, including the large manual citrus juice squeezers seen in all Mexican fruterias. Be sure to check out the herb store, where herbal remedies are sold for every affliction.

Dried chili peppers on display for sale at Centro Comercial, Tijuana Farmer's Market Fresh and dried fruits and vegetables are the main attraction here, and it's awesome to walk around and see the sheer quantity and many varieties of chiles, both dried and fresh, that are sold here. Watch vendors preparing catus leaves for sale, scraping off the spines-perhaps you can even get a lesson in preparing catus leaves for the famous  ensalada nopales.
