Directions to Poniente at the Cuauhtemoc vehicular bridge:
NOTE: My Guia Roji map indicates the road in front (northeast)
of Pueblo Amigo "Paseo de Tijuana." The street signs all indicate
it is called "Centenario."
Follow Centenario, in front of the
Pueblo Amigo shopping center, southeast 12 blocks. You will
pass two gloriettas, the first will have a woman archer. Continue
to Ave. Cuauhtemoc. On the right you will see the vehicular bridge
rising up to cross over the river. Turn right on the side street
that parallels the bridge, walk one short block and cross the
street in a southeasterly direction to reach the stairs that take
you up to the bridge sidewalk. Cross the river and descend on
the other side to Poniente, the busy street that parallels the
Tijuana river. While crossing the river you can look to your left
and see the Twin Towers of the Grand Hotel in the distance. Saverio's
is about 1 block north of the Twin Towers.
