Take the Aeropuerto Bus from Tijuana

Bus fare is about 40-50 cents. The drivers accept U.S. currency.

There is a bus stop (although it isn't obvious) across the street (Paseo de los Heroes) from the Cultural Center. Just stand in front of the McDonalds and wait. You want any bus that says "aeropuerto" (airport).

The bus ride to Otay takes about 15 minutes. You will pass the Tijuana Airport going east and then the road bends to the south. You can get off at Bellas Artes and continue walking south. Cross the street (eastward) at a convenient spot prior to reaching the big traffic circle near the Plaza Americana shopping center. At this point you will be walking on the same side of the street as the sports playing field. When you encounter a main road (Ave. Tijuana Zona Industrial, which hugs the south border of the playing field) you should see the Hotel Bugambilias. Cross the street in a southerly direction in front of the hotel. From the hotel you can see the Ritz sign high in the air. The Ritz is on the street diagonal to Lazaro Cardenas.

Sight to See-Mujer Blanca

On the ride to the aeropuerto, if you keep looking to your right, just before you get to the airport you might be able to catch a glimpse of the Mujer Blanca, or "white lady". Created and lived in by a sculptor, this several stories tall white lady serves as living quarters as well as artistic expression.
