At the southern end of the Plaza Rio
Tijuana Shopping Center you will be at the corner of Cuauhtemoc
and Paseo de los Heroes. There is a statute in the glorieta of
Señor Cuauhtemoc. Continue on down Cuauhtemoc south-easterly
to Agua Caliente. Cuauhtemoc has a few stairways of a dozen or
so uneven concrete steps with no handrail. If you are sqeamish
about such things, take another street perpendicular to Agua Caliente.
When you reach Cuauhtemoc and Agua Caliente, Cuauhtemoc changes
into Cuauhtemoc Sur Oriente; it used to be called Av 16th de Septiembre
and is still shown that way on some maps. It is one of the roads
you take to get to Ensenada. It is a one way street, going in
the direction opposite to the way you are walking.

At the intersection of Agua Caliente and Cuauhtemoc Sur Oriente,
turn right & go (south) two blocks to Ibarra. You will see a parking
lot, currently enclosed by a chain link fence. Walk past the parking
lot and turn left. After the massage parlor you will see the steps
leading up to La Fonda Roberto's.
